Address

Dear compatriots!

I am happy to welcome you to our website, where we have collected the most complete information about the history, traditions and culture of the Abaza people, as well as about the activities of the international Abaza-Abkhaz association "Alashara".

For more than 10 years, together with like-minded people, we have been implementing dozens of projects within the framework of the "Alashara" association. One of our main mechanisms is the creation of Public Councils. This is a very important tool in building a sustainable civil society, because it allows the residents themselves to participate in the development of the territory of their residence: it helps to identify problems, formulate requests and find ways to solve them, including from a financial point of view.

The National Fund of the Abaza People allows raising funds to solve pressing problems: this is an effective modern way to accumulate money from caring citizens. Together, "Alashara" and the National Fund of the Abaza People are engaged in active joint work and provide comprehensive assistance aimed at improving the quality of life of people.

Since its foundation in 2011, the "Alashara" organization has also been working in several key areas: preserving the traditions, culture and language of the Abaza, improving the quality of life of people through improved medical care, developing sports and promoting a healthy lifestyle, supporting educational and scientific projects, assistance in the formation of a sustainable civil society. I myself come from the village of Krasny Vostok in the Malokarachaevsky district of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, and I know from the example of my own family and friends how important these tasks are for my compatriots.

We have developed an extensive program for the preservation of the Abaza language, which is the foundation of our culture. "Alashara" employees, together with writers, linguists, culturologists, prepare school manuals, hold annual scientific conferences and readings, translate cartoons, make feature films, and create applications for smartphones. The comprehensive program "Preservation and Development of the Abaza People" has been implemented since 2014, and since 2020 began the Program for the Preservation and Development of the Abkhaz-Abaza language, literature and history.

We respect the traditions of our people, which have evolved over thousands of years. Moreover, we want our compatriots to realize the significance of this heritage. For this purpose, we hold the Festival of Abaza culture, lectures and scientific conferences. We are responsible for the preservation and transmission of this invaluable knowledge and cultural heritage to future generations. They contain the centuries-old wisdom and strength of our people, which we are gathering to use for the benefit of the country's development.

My associates and I are aware that our ancestors created everything we rely on today. Our duty is to work actively to match their wisdom and strength, to preserve the traditions of the people, to bring our culture to the world, which makes us kinder, more courteous to relatives and friends, to women and children, to elders. Our mission is to strengthen the spiritual and cultural ties between people, the formation of a sustainable civil society in which mutual assistance, care for each other and the environment are valued.

To achieve even greater success in our common cause, we invite all those who care to cooperate! Let us together take the path of development and revival of our country. We are convinced that by joint efforts, we are able to make our country better, and through this work, we ourselves will become better. Faith in one's own strength, faith that each person is the maker of his own happiness, will help us on this path. We ourselves can change the vector of our development and head for revival. Success comes to those who are patient and willing to work tirelessly.

Sincerely,

President of the International Association for the Promotion of Development of the Abaza-Abkhaz Ethnos "Alashara"
